The peanut or groundnut (Arachis hypogaea) is a species in the family Fabaceae (commonly known as the bean, pea or legume family). There are four main varieties of Peanut being Runner, Spanish, Valencia and Virginia, each have different characteristics with regards to size, shape, oil content and flavour. We source our Peanuts from various origins dependent on customer requirement but typically the most common countries of origin are USA, Argentina, India and China.
